The Cisco WS-C3560V2-48PS-S Catalyst switch is a next-generation, energy-efficient, Layer 3 Fast Ethernet switch that supports Power over Ethernet and Cisco EnergyWise technology to helps companies manage power consumption of the network infrastructure and network-attached devices and reduce their energy costs and their carbon footprint

This new version 2 of the popular 3560 series of switches consumes less power than it's predecessors and is ideal access layer switches for enterprise, retail, and branch-office environments. It helps maximise productivity and provide investment protection by enabling a unified network for data, voice, and video.

The new Cisco Express Setup feature simplifies the initial configuration of a switch. Users now have the option to set up the switch through a Web browser, eliminating the need for more complex terminal-emulation programs and knowledge of the command-line interface (CLI).
