The UniFi UAP AC Simultaneous Dual-Band Wireless-N Access Point from Ubiquiti Networks is the fastest 802.11ac UniFi model with speeds of up to 1300 Mbps in the 5 GHz radio band and up to 450 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz radio band. Like the other UAP models, the Ubiquiti UniFi UAP AC utilises a clean, industrial design that seamlessly blends into typical environments; affix this device to any ceiling and it is easily mistaken for a high end smoke detector. All accessories are included to mount the access point either on the wall or ceiling.

UniFi 3.0 builds on previous UniFi releases, which offer comprehensive hotspot management and a flexibly deployed software controller. The controller can run on-premises, in a private cloud or public cloud. After the UniFi Controller software is installed on a Mac or PC, the UniFi Controller can be accessed through any device using a Web browser. The UniFi Controller allows the administrator to instantly provision thousands of UniFi APs, map out networks, quickly manage system traffic, and further provision individual UniFi AP devices.

The Power over Ethernet (PoE) functionality allows both power and data to be carried over a single Ethernet cable to the Ubiquiti UniFi UAP AC.
